Hello and welcome! It takes courage to acknowledge where we can improve and actively seek help. I am here to offer a safe and non-judgmental space to confront life’s challenges and gain a deeper understanding of your emotions. For those who have experienced trauma or neglect, the journey towards healing can be particularly challenging. I understand the complexities in dealing with feelings such as anger, grief or betrayal. My approach is rooted in empathy and support, guiding clients through the process of reconnecting with themselves and others.
One of my key areas of expertise lies in performance enhancement, spanning across sports, career, and life. I have had the privilege of working with collegiate and professional athletes, providing them with tailored strategies for optimal performance in their respective fields. Whether it’s managing unique stressors inherent to professional or student-athletes or helping individuals discover their purpose. I am passionate about facilitating personal and professional growth. In my work with couples, I focus on deepening understanding, strengthening connections, and equipping partners with effective conflict-resolution skills. I aim to foster healthier relationships and enduring bonds.
I am committed to professional development, and actively engage in advanced trainings including EMDR, Trauma Focused-CBT, DBT, and the Gottman Method for Couples Counseling. This commitment allows me to stay at the forefront of therapeutic techniques and offer the best possible support to those seeking positive change.
If you find yourself struggling with life's challenges, seeking purpose, or looking to enhance your performance in various aspects of life, I am here to accompany you on your journey. Together, we can navigate the path towards growth, understanding, and fulfillment.

The butterfly is proof that you can go through a great deal of darkness yet become something beautiful.
Committed relationships require regular care and maintenance to prevent the build up of unhealthy patterns and unresolved issues. Couples therapy provides a safe and supportive space for both of you to explore your emotions, resolve your differences, and deepen your love and connection.
I use the Gottman Method of couples therapy. This method is based on over 4 decades of research, by Drs. John and Julie Gottman that increases the understanding of fostering healthy, long-lasting relationships. This approach includes a thorough assessment of the couple’s relationship and utilizes research-based interventions based on the Sound Relationship House Theory. Each partner will take the assessment separately and the scores will be combined to identify the strengths in your relationship and the areas that need improvement which will be the focus of our sessions.
“Behind every great relationship are difficult and uncomfortable conversations we rarely get to see. Great relationships don’t just fall into our laps. They require people to move through their fears and insecurities and do the hard work to move wounds into healing.”
Athletes bring with them a set of conditions while trying to balance school and sport, relationships and sport, and/or work and sport. This can lead to increased levels of anxiety, depression, burnout, and emotional outbursts. I will target any conditions that may be impacting your performance and provide assistance to help you think, feel, and perform better.

What happens in first session?
Therapy is an individualized process. So, this can look different depending on the goals of the person. There is not a “cookie cutter” template for healing. You are unique and whatever you are going through is unique to YOU. I will listen, support, and provide a safe place to heal. You do not need to relive your trauma in order to heal. I will never push you to talk about anything that you are not ready to discuss. I can offer the following as a general overview of our initial session:
Reviewing paperwork, confidentiality
Sharing current challenges
Identifying coping skills, values, core beliefs
Addressing any questions or concerns you may have
I do not accept insurance.
I am an Out-of-Network provider to insurance companies
Please contact your insurance company directly for information regarding your eligibility and reimbursement rates.
Here are some questions you can ask your insurance company:
1. Do I have out-of-network benefits?
2. What is my deductible?
3. At what percentage will I be reimbursed?
Please be aware that a mental health diagnosis is required and will be listed on your invoice.

Cancellation Policy
A commitment to our time together is essential for meeting your counseling goals. To ensure a beneficial experience, I kindly ask that you familiarize yourself with my cancellation policy:
Since your appointment is reserved specifically for you, a minimum of a 24 hour notice is required for canceling and/or rescheduling an appointment. I appreciate 24 (or more) hours notice as this offers me the ability to offer that time to another client who may be waiting or in need. Conveniently you can use the online scheduler to manage your appointments so you do not have to wait to speak to me. Simply log in to change or cancel any appointment that is 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment.
When a no show/late cancel fee is waived
I appreciate that LIFE is unpredictable. That’s why I offer the flexibility of waiving up to two missed appointments per year. The count begins with your initial full session (does not include the free 20 minute consults).
Cancellation and No Show Fees
After you have utilized your two waived session fees, any subsequent missed appointments or late cancellations (less than 24 hour notice) will result in the fee equal to your session rate.
My Commitment to You
I value your ongoing commitment to therapy. If I haven’t heard from you or noticed a rescheduled appointment by the time of your next session, I will check in on your well-being. Your time will never be forfeited due to missing an appointment unless I do not hear from you for three consecutive weeks. I encourage you to stay in touch so that I may work with you to find a time that is better for your schedule OR if you wish to keep your current time slot. Also, I will provide referrals if needed to help you continue on your healing journey. I am here to help you and committed to providing support all along the way.
